How will I benefit by working with a domestic-concierge?
Domestic concierges keep you in control of your to-do list; freeing up your time so you can do the things you want to do! We work on a variety of projects including organizing, routine maintenance, even one-time projects.

How long do organizing projects take?
Each situation is different. The type of project, your availability, how quickly decisions are made, and many other factors play an important roll in determining the length of a project. Call us.  Once you’ve told us about the project we’ll be able to give you a much better idea about how long it will take.

Do I need to be there?
No.  We’ll coordinate access to your home, and we’ll keep you informed via phone, e-mail or text as to how the project is going.

How far in advance should I call you?
In most cases, a week to two weeks is sufficient.

I am only available one day a week. How can I work with you on an organizing project?
There are several options. (1) We can schedule time to work on the organizing project only when you are available; or (2) we can sort and organize independently. We will contact you using phone, text or email, or leave notes for you about any questions or decisions that need to be made.  You can make those decisions when you’re available. Once those decisions are made, we’ll schedule a return visit to follow-up and complete the project.

Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, Check It Off Your List is insured and licensed through the City of Santa Clara.

What is the minimum charge?
There is no charge for a 15-minute phone consultation. All services are billed by the hour in increments of 15-minutes.  There is a two-hour minimum for most services. Regularly scheduled weekly or bi-monthly service is a one-hour minimum.

Yes, we can wait for repair people to arrive and supervise the repair. Or we can contact repair professionals, research pricing, and availability, even set up and oversee the appointment. Of course, the final selection and contract is between you and the service professional you choose.

We can coordinate the pickup/drop-offs of household items for cleaning and repair.

Check It Off Your List offers personal shopping for household items. Give us your list, and we’ll deliver it to your door. You pay for the items, the time spent shopping and delivering.  We do not mark up the price of the item.
